Growth of weeds in the joints
Residues of mortar and cement on the surfaces
Jointings impermeable to water lead to an elevated work load for drainage systems
Damages due to the interaction of freeze and dew
Jointings breaking up due to suction effects by road tires and street cleaners
The solution to the problem: Mainbrick Paving Joint Filler, uniting loads of good characteristics: – No growth of weeds – Resistant to heat, freeze and road salt – Constantly permeable to water and air – High level of resistance to bending and pressure – Resistant to the exposure to gasoline, acid and leach – No material hazes or residues on the pavement surfaces – Easy to process and fail-safe – Good hold of the paving stones – Unsealing of the ground by filling in turf pavers (e. g. ECOraster) with the help of Mainbrick Paving Joint Filler
Pre wet the surface
Open the vacuum-sealed bag
Spread material over the surface to be grouted
Work material into the joints with a soft broom or brush
Rinse the grouted area with a soft stream of water to compress material into joints
Remove excess material from the surface by gently brushing diagonally across joints
Clean the surface by rinsing with a soft stream of water
The result is a clean and neat surface
Mainbrick Paving Joint Filler can be used to fill the joints on flagstone patios and garden paths, paver driveways, and many more applications.
Note: The substrate should be water permeable with a slight grade for best results.
Done – Allow the finished area to cure at 68°F for 24 hours before walking on the surface. Curing time increases with lower temperatures and decreases with higher temperatures. Clean tools immediately with water and mild detergent.
